A solemn wreath laying ceremony will be held at Lawyer Newsome's grave site located at Pleasant Shade Cemetery. High Noon. Light refreshments will be provided at The Newsome House Museum immediately following the ceremony. Anyone who would like to participate in the ceremony can meet at The Newsome House Museum by 11:30am on June 2nd.
